Vape companies use flavours to hook kids. We took to the streets to let parents in on that nasty fact. We told them we put nicotine in their kids' ice cream (we didn't really). And they freaked. Our point?
If it's not okay to push nicotine on kids using ice cream flavours, then why is it okay for vape companies to do it using kid-friendly flavours? Just 12 days after our campaign launched, Juul - the largest vape marketer in the country - pulled their flavoured vapes in Canada citing public pressure and specifically our campaign. Nice.
